Much as I think he's a trainwreck, I think this is to make co-parenting easier. If you can afford to set it up so your kids can walk across the street on your visitation days, why not.

I don't follow his antics, and have just seen what's been mentioned here, as far as I can recall.

So far, trainwreck seems apropos, but if this is because he wants to be a good dad, then that's really great.

It's no doubt tough being a single parent, not to mention how it affects kids.

So I hope this works out well.
