12 months ago, I posted a poll on what the estimate would be on the price of BTC a year later (this week). Below is a screenshot of last years' guesses.

25% of voters got really close with $50k, which is close to the current value this week.

Bitcoin has a "price", but it has no real "worth", so any estimate of its price is simply a huge WAG.

FYI Last price of BTC for 12/31/21 was $47912

anything that someone values has 'worth.'

If the search function is correct, that award for First Mention goes to space-time on June 11, 2011, at which BTC was priced around $4.25 per bitcoin.

Just for fun, imagine if we'd each just invested $3k into bitcoin and left it until today. $3k would've purchased 700 BTC, and that'd be worth over $33 million.
