I can TeamViewer back home and remote Emby works fine.
That would seem to indicate that my Firewall isn't doing anything I don't want it to.
But I can't retrieve a file from home.
I want to get a movie for the (hopefully) flight home.

TV does file transfer, of course, but only from here to the remote and not the other way. Or if it can, I haven't figured it out.

Tried Screen share, Finder/Go/Connect to Server and Terminal/ssh.
Nada. All mutter about the firewall or the server isn't on line.
But as I said.

Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

I know I have the right "public" IP as I've checked with TV and Emby.
Or do I need to port forward?

Pretty sure that Emby only provides for offline access in a mobile-app, so that's probably a dead-end.

Is the Teamviewer File Transfer browser failing?

Got Dropbox? I use that as a failsafe in those situations.

...Would not in a million years open my firewall for anything other than SSL VPN traffic at this point.

Oh. Duh! Dropbox. Yea, that should do it.
Yea closed firewall. Made me nervous.
The TV browser is working, but I only see where I am as send and home as receive.
Can't figure how to flip it.

ended up using wetransfer. For some reason Dropbox struggles and gets no where on the upload side.
