I tried their plant-based chorizo a couple nights ago. It's based on pea protein. I've tried pea protein "meat" before, and it wasn't exactly my favorite, so I had pretty low expectations going in. Chipotle's was palatable; it was well seasoned, the texture was firm but beef-like, and it didn't have an off-putting odor. That said, I think I prefer their sofritas, which is seasoned tofu.

I thought, "what the hell" and tried to place an order in the app with this deal but I kept getting an error that my order did not contain the necessary items for the BOGO. I tried various combinations of bowls, tacos, and burritos all with the chorizo as the protein. No Chipotle for me until they fix their app and/or this promotion.
