As mentioned in original post, no AC charger but a 5 ft USB A to C cable included. Supposedly charges fully in 3 hours.

That's one of my pet peeves about cheap Qi wireless charging devices. They don't include an AC adapter. Makes them far less of a deal and vastly less compelling. $5.00 or less? Yes, worth grabbing. Connect them to a surge protected power strips with built-in USB ports. More than $5.00? Wouldn't buy one. That's why I took advantage of the deal and bought a few of them to give as gifts. $5.00 for a USB cable in itself is a fair deal. So, think of these as buying a cable and getting a wireless charging pad with it as a freebie.

Robert, agreed. Usually a drag without the AC adapter but I have a number of extras I’ve kept over the years as I off loaded various Apple devices so at 3 bucks and change for the 3 I picked up they are worthwhile.

WAAAAH! Mine says out for delivery but still no show. FedEx has been royally messed up in my area for the last month. Item shipped to me December 20 from WI was out for delivery on 12/23 and then mysteriously listed as undeliverable because of weather. We had no weather; it was unusually warm in GA that week. Delivery guy later told me a decision was made to NOT deliver a bulk of items.

my item was returned to a staging location and then MIA for the next 10 days. The shipper was beside himself and his sales agent and customer service said tough cookies - file a claim.

I received the item January 5. New delivery guy said it was his first day and FedEx was royally understaffed for the work load.

We'll see when i get my pads...

Will any 5V power supply work?

I've got a few of the ubiquitous Apple 5V/5W floating around.

I was looking at a wireless cradle and the product details stated the Apple 5W power supplies wouldn't work.

Most of the approved spec chargers run around $13-20 at AMZ.

And I assume there will be some care needed to align the phone so it gets it's max charge and doesn't fail to charge completely.

Thanks. Just ordered 3 of these. Maybe a good birthday present for my brother.

I use a Mac and an iOS app called Deliveries to get posts from all the major carriers.

Not of the vendors send me updates, just the initial 'it's shipped' email.

A couple send me a 'It's been delivered' email, but no texts.

For some reason, an recent order from FedEx generated a ton of notifications for an order.

It's as though if the item moved to three different locations within on facility, I got a notification that it's going to move and that it got to the location.

Then there were a few duplicate texts as though the package was scanned at the same phase by different people at different times.

Fortunately, it hasn't happened since.

I don't know if these charging pads will be shipped by FedEx, but if it is and there are only the few necessary tracking updates, I'll be happy.
