I've been watching the tv series Alphas and I'm not sure I understand what happened at the end of the last episode. The bombs go off, everybody falls to the ground except Gary. Are they all dead? How far does the damage extend? Why wasn't Gary affected? I really enjoyed the show but that was a heck of a cliff hanger.

We'll never know because the series was cancelled. I liked that show though. I've decided that if I like a series it's doomed to cancellation. As a result, I've all but given up on episodic entertainment.

I lump Alphas in with Warehouse 13, The 2400, Eureka, Firefly...any number of shows that I became invested in then promptly were cancelled.
