I don't see Hurts being the Eagles starting QB next season. Geeez, he couldn't
complete a pass of 20yds or more. He should really commit to off season
pro training like QBE or Manning Passing Academy.

Da rules is da rules... ref's gotta "set" the play, ASAP, to make it official; and setting da play means putting da ball in its "official" position to start the play. Usually it's not a problem, but da 'boys/da Dak went too far down the field for the ref/ump to get to da ball as fast as da 'boys needed to spike it. Gotta be judicious w/ your TO's, so ya have one for just such a sitch.

I don't think spiking should be allowed or even how it came into being. They're just a "free" time out.
