I have a Mac mini and hooked the below adapter to my USB C port. I plugged the DVI from the monitor and the best I can get is 720p. There are no other resolution options in the system settings. I went with this adapter specifically because it claims to work with the 30" monitor. Have you plugged in the USB cable from the display to your computer?

Have you held the option key down when you clicked the "Scaled" button to see all of the resolution options in the Displays pref's?

Agreed. They did away with File: Save As... but the Option key exposes it again.

Wow! Annoying, but I'll be happy to have access to that again! I still find the "Duplicate" option incredibly annoying.

That whole file naming change has been a disaster for the user. It made no sense.

A developer at PANIC suggested they did it for Spotlight reasons. I never understood it.

It's not Spotlight.

It's because they implemented versioning, tied to the original document. When you "duplicate" you're preserving the document's history, but forking it. When you do a save-as or copy a document in the Finder, you're severing your copy from the document's history.

I've always dislike that, from the jump.

I can see how it makes sense if one is using Time Machine, which I assume is the reason for versioning.

Maybe, I don't know.

But once I found that Save As was alive, and just hidden, it's what I use.

From that screenshot, you are using a Gigabyte M32U 4K (High DPI/Retina) display that is recognized as such by the OS, connected via a modern Displayport or USB-C (which is Displayport for this purpose) or HDMI 2.0/2.1 cable.

That's a very different circumstance vs using an adapter to connect a 17 year old LED Cinema Display with DVI.
