Taking a selfie from the top of the sinking car.... How millennial of her.

Will the car magically unsink if she doesn't take the selfie?

I am that Masked Man.

Your boos mean nothing to me, I've seen what you cheer for.

Insisting on your rights without acknowledging your responsibilities isn’t freedom, it’s adolescence.

I've been to the edge of the map, and there be monsters.

We are a government of laws, not men.

Everybody counts or nobody counts.

When a good man is hurt,
all who would be called good
must suffer with him.

You and I have memories longer than the road that stretches out ahead.

There is no safety for honest men except
by believing all possible evil of evil men.

Hell... I'd do the same thing. People know she's there. Rescue is coming. In the meantime... what else is there to do?

One day you'll be telling this great story about how stupid you were in your youth and you'll be able to produce a picture. The picture is gonna be hilarious.

I can see it now... you're telling the story as you are messing with your phone and just as you finish, you produce this picture. The room will erupt in laughter...

Dad talked about a high school companion who drove his dad's car onto the ice of the Iowa River in Iowa Falls only to have the ice break. This would have been maybe the 1920's or so.

The Dad was not pleased.

I did something similar but with a snowmobile. We got a rope on it before it sank all the way, which it did, and pulled it out a day or two later after the ice was thicker. Just emptied out the water and it fired right up.

Another time we were driving around on the lake in a car pulling a toboggan full of friends. A cop stopped us and told us he would write us up for careless driving if we continued.

Saint Cloud, Minnesota, where the weather is wonderful even when it isn't.

Don't go chasing waterfalls
Please stick to the rivers and the lakes that you're used to
I know that you're gonna have it your way or nothing at all,
but I think you're moving too fast.

Maybe the neighbors can come out and sing “Nearer My God to Thee” as the car slips under water.
