Help, Where does Contacts store its data in Mac OS?

I deleted a group instead of an entry in Contacts.
Can I revert to previous via Time Machine?

Undo Delete group did not work.

Thanks,

Steve

Yes you can.
Open address book and then open Time Machine. Go back until your group is there.

Giving it a try.
I think it is "busy" trying to revert?
I have a dialog box that wants to import 341 cards.
Gives option to: review duplicates, cancel or import.
Clicking any of the 3 just gives a beep.

Luckily the group I was working on as a "duplicate group of all records" that I was deleting outdated contacts from.
At least I can just start over if this doesn't work.

No Luck.
Had to start over.
I don't like programs that don't have a save function.
