Decades ago while skiing at Killington in VT, I was paying more attention to the scenery than I was to my skiing (I was on an easy Blue Square trail). I went down and my Yashika went sliding ahead of me. Luckily, there was a Yashika office ~ five miles from where I lived at that time and, my father knew a couple of techs that worked there. I got lucky on that one.
