I got in 2 upper body workouts and about 8 miles walked. Sugar and carbs intake could have been less.

Got a riding session in on my trainer. Attacked a holly bush. The bush is still in the ground. My knee is hurting.

Getting back into some power lifting moves again, increasing protein intake. Got a really tight quad that took several rolling sessions to relax but it's good now.

Doing my 10K push-up challenge again but combined with 10K sit-ups too. I'm on target with over 1K each so far.

Also decided I'd like to be able to do more pullups. I'm at 4/5ish right now, and would like to get up to 10, so working on that intermittently.

Ice storm did not interfere with my 1 ½ mile trek with the dog last week every day. Day of the storm we were out as the rain started turning to ice pellets so we were home in plenty of time. With shorter jaunts each day I am getting over two miles a day; when it is just the two of us there can be some quick speeds between the trees.

That storm did stop me from hitting the gym on Friday, but I hope to make a trip tomorrow. I hit a lull where going even once a week required some discipline but I am back to enjoying the workouts again.

Up two pounds so I need to pay more attention to my fork exercises.

Nice work, gents! Well, except for Don C’s fork exercises.

6.7 miles of walking over two days. Cold and wind conspired to keep me indoors most of the week. This week we are in Florida where only rain will stop us.



Saint Cloud, Minnesota, where the weather is wonderful even when it isn't.

Been going out in the 30-ish degree weather.

4 days last week, 10 miles.

...I need better earmuffs.

(Phorum nanny doesn't like the two-word synonym for ear-warmers.)

Gained a couple. Not loving my most recent bloodwork. Praying for warm weather next week. Walked 4 miles Sunday but not doing it nearly consistently enough.
