Current mid binge:

Pennyworth - back story to Alfred of Batman in 60's UK. Just about to finish 1st season. Good story, solid players, great look. Shot a bit like a graphic novel. I'm not big on superheros, DC, Marvel or that lot. Not lots of CGI or splosions. This is much more enjoyable. Although there is a fair amount of violins. 10 eps a season.

Ghosts UK - very funny. The premise could get dull fast but, good writing and players. Just started 2nd season. 6 eps/season.

Frayed from down under - very black comedy. Never heard of one of the actors. All very good. Funny and twisted, Just started 2nd season. 6 eps a season.

Manhattan - about the Manhattan project. Good story, some of which I suppose is true. Good writing, direction and look. Only a couple eps in. Rachel Brosnahan is the "lead" in this. We liked her in the 1st season of Mrs Maisel, but we gave up mid 2nd season. The formulaic fast talking 50's Jews got lame and insulting.
She has been in Blacklist, House of Cards US, and some other good stuff.
She appears to be playing Mrs Maisel in this or visa versa. Want to see her in Courier with Cumberbatch. Hoping she'll be someone else. 2 seasons of 8.

State of the Union - Chris O'Dowd whos' been good in comedy, drama, and mixed chaos. Rosamund Pike who I'd not heard of despite her time in front of the lens.. Very good 10 min eps about a couple meeting before couples therapy. Not quite a black comedy, but both funny and sad.

Family Guy - hysterical twisted.

Archer - which has been weak for 6 seasons. Yet I watch every one.

Ozark. Only watched a few eps so far. Can't watch another Breaking Bad right now, but very good.

Cowboy Bebop animation. meh. couple eps and I was bored.

Taking a break from Ray Donovan and dunno if I'll return for S6.
If only for Jon Voight and Susan Sarandon.
And from Shameless US S8. But I'll be back to that. The subtle social commentary woven thru the black comedy is well done.
And Weeds after S1. Tired of the BIL.

I try not to binge as many shows are 13 episodes at most, sometimes as few as six.

When they're gone, that's it for at least another year, so I try to pace myself, for a little bit at least.
