For a self-administered medical procedure, I've found this:

... which is, by far, the best medical tape I've ever used -- no pulling on the skin, no ripping out hairs, no skin welts, no itching/allergy to the adhesive, etc. FYI, it is also the same stuff used to smooth out the appearance of scars.

The problem? It's not cheap, especially at the rate I'm going through it...

I just followed your link, then searched 'Silicone Gel Tape' and found lots of options - many much cheaper.

Have you tried contacting the manufacturer or distributor to inquire about bulk / case lot purchases?

Not sure which one(s) you're seeing, but most of what I'm seeing is all about the same price ... when you consider quantity/length. If you see an especially good deal on one, please post it!

That makes me think of the stuff they gave my mom after a large mole removal. I remember the doctor telling her to definitely use it since it usually worked very well, but don't waste it because the sheet (about 5" x 7") was $100 (ca. 2009) if she wanted to buy it retail.

I got some 3M silicone tape on eBay for not the worst price. I need it because my skin can’t deal with most adhesives anymore. I have some Hypafix tape that is also expensive and fairly gentle. Silicone tape is one of those splurges!
