The Baby-Sitters Club Cancelled at Netflix After 2 Seasons

....The Baby-Sitters Club will have to find a new way to make some spending money: Netflix has cancelled the middle school dramedy after two seasons.

Based on the classic Ann M. Martin book series, The Baby-Sitters Club centered on a group of middle school friends who start a baby-sitting service in their hometown of Stoneybrook, Connecticut. Sophie Grace, Momona Tamada, Shay Rudolph and Malia Baker starred as the girls, with Alicia Silverstone and Mark Feuerstein playing the mother and stepfather of Grace’s character Kristy. Rachel Shukert served as creator and showrunner.

“I have wanted to be a part of the world Ann M. Martin created since I was 7 years old, and for two amazing seasons I actually got to be,” Shukert said in a statement. “It was a dream come true. Although I am heartbroken not to be returning to Stoneybrook for 20 more seasons, I am so proud of the incredible show our amazing cast and crew created and the way it brought joy and comfort to so many when they needed it most. Thank you to Walden Media and to Netflix for giving us the opportunity to introduce Kristy, Claudia, Stacey, Mary Anne, Dawn, Jessi, and Mallory to a new generation of fans who I know will love them as much as we do for years to come.”

Debuting on Netflix in July 2020, The Baby-Sitters Club was renewed for a second season three months later. Season 2 debuted last October.. The cancellation caps the show’s run at a total of 18 episodes.

Never Have I Ever to End With Season 4

.....Devi Vishwakumar’s days at Netflix are numbered.

The streamer has renewed Never Have I Ever for a fourth and final season, Netflix announced Tuesday. Season 3 is slated to premiere later this year.

Season 4 of the coming-of-age comedy will begin streaming in 2023; production on those episodes likely will get underway in the next few months.

The comedy, which hails from Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher, received a Season 3 renewal in August 2021. It stars Maitreyi Ramakrishnan as Devi, a first-generation Indian American teen who’s grieving her recently deceased father and trying to navigate the social and romantic pitfalls of high school......

Vikings: Valhalla Officially Renewed for Seasons 2 and 3 at Netflix

.....The ship hasn’t sailed yet on Vikings: Valhalla.

Netflix has officially renewed the historical drama for Seasons 2 and 3. In fact, production on Season 2 has already wrapped, with a premiere date slated for next year. Season 3 will start filming this spring.

The streamer initially ordered 24 episodes of the Vikings spinoff, which is set a hundred years after the History series and stars Sam Corlett as legendary explorer Leif Erikson. And since Season 1 only had eight episodes, the two-season renewal was really more of a formality. But it speaks to the popularity of Season 1, which Netflix says has racked up a total of 194 million hours viewed since its February 25 debut......

already renewed.....for season 2 and 3......?!
