Quick backstory - my Father died just about a year ago, and my stepmother mailed a package on Friday to me containing all of the tax forms (e.g. 1099s) for his various accounts so I can do the taxes for both him and his estate.

She is in Whittier (Los Angeles area), and I'm in San Diego (just about 100 miles south) - I was expecting the package to arrive today, but when I checked the tracking status, it looks like it took a detour over the weekend...I hope it makes its way to me sometime this week:

I've been waiting 10 days for an eBay purchase that needed to go from Salt Lake City to the SF Bay area. They used some sort of DHL service to add all sorts of delay before giving it to USPS.
