Actual dimensions of 20" iMac screen?

Wondering if someone can give me the actual dimensions of the 20" iMac screen. I know the dimaneions of the casing, those are on the Apple website, but I can't seem to track down the dimensions of the LCD itself. What are the dimensions of the 17 and 24" for comparison if you know them?

Thanks

20 1/4" diag. on my original G5 20" iMac. Should be the same as current models.

Sorry, I should have been more specific. I understand the 20" diagonal measure- what I'd like to know is the actual height and width of the LCD panel. In other words, the viewable area dimensions. Thanks
