What do you regret about upgrading to Monterey 12.0

I have no need to upgrade from Big Sur on a couple Macs, and no real reason not to.

There are a couple of features I like, so I'm figuring WTF, why not.

But some of you may have gone back, or wish you could, or just plain dislike Monterey.

I've got a spare external drive or two so I might do one of those first.

There's some drill I need to know to boot an M1 Mac from an external drive.

So what makes Monterey the bane of your existance?

Thank you both.

I'll probably do the MBA and an external SSD later today.

interface wise, I see little diff between the two... which for me is prob more important than actual functionality.

external booting is a cluster.

external booting is only an issue with macs that have the extra privacy ship (2018 and later) right?

Why would anyone sign up for upgrade pain when they don't need to upgrade?
