toner cartridge recycling?

I know in the old days, you could recycle a toner cartridge at one of the office stores and get a ream of paper for it. Does anyone do that anymore? Or anything similar? I've got like 10 toner cartridges from our Color Laserjet that are sitting around waiting for me to do something with them.

Just went to their website. Here is step 1:

Spend at least $30 on ink or toner. Buy in store or online within 180 days prior to recycling.

So it looks like you have to buy toner there in order to be able to recycle it there. No thanks. Their prices are insane compared to online.

that may be. I'll let you know in a few days when my cred is issued.
I was really just happy to send them off to recycle as I hardly print.
3 carts in 10 years or so.
If I can't get me a box of envelopes for some cash and cred, f 'em.
It'll be another 3 years before I have an empty. By then, I'd prolly need a new printer ..... maybe.

Looks like HP has a recycling program.

I know Brother does too.
