From a very reliable ebay retailer. I have purchased stuff from them in the past with no issues that weren't properly handled.

Is it worth it? Probably if you just need a basic laptop...

The seller probably imported a container of these to China (containers shipped to China are cheap), then used cheap China postal to ship to the bidders’ addresses.

ebay makes filling in specs imposible - the seller grabbed the wrong auto-specs

what they are selling is the standard config: 2.5ghz 4gb 500gb

For 2012, I thought there was only one release of the unibody models, "Mid-2012".

That's what this MD101LL/A model number corresponds to.

Good find. The price isn't a RYF, but it's good for that machine.

Easily upgradeable to 16GB RAM and an SSD or your choosing.

Note that it doesn't come with a power adapter.

That model year is the sweet spot for several DJ and music apps, inside parts are upgradable, optical drive can be pulled for 2nd hard drive.

I'm tempted to just have as a back up side grade if my current one @#$%& the bed.

Added him to favorite sellers just in case.

The late 2012 MBP has the retina display and no optical drive. I'm on one now. I was just noting that there's a picture of a MBP with an optical drive and one without.

2. Just how "banged up" are these things? Seller states This is a used item with minor case scratches/wear. This item may also contain case dents, minor discoloration, some larger case scratches and/or case dents.
