Rant about Microsoft notifications

Specifically Outlook, the email program. I must use it for parts of my work. When the Inbox is empty I get a notification, "All done for the day! Enjoy your empty inbox."

So stupid. Of course more emails will come in later, I'm not done. What if I'm waiting anxiously for an email that hasn't arrived yet? There's no enjoyment in looking at an empty inbox in such a situation. If they must put in a notification, can't it just say "Inbox empty"?

Don't know why this irritates me, but when I mentioned it to my wife she gave me one of those "Huh?" looks, so I decided to vent here. I feel better already. whine smiley

Don't we have a group fee for psychological services here?

Luckily, my work email has never been empty! :-(
