I may be the last to know this, and granted, I rarely use my phone to look at websites (like never), but today I learned that if you’re in Safari, and you want to save/send an entire website image, you can do just that:

1. Safari must NOT be in a Folder, it’s gotta be right on the screen (weird glitch makes it not work if Safari is in a standard folder)

2. Open Safari, go to any long webpage.

3. Take a screenshot (on my ancient 6S, it’s Home Button and Power Button held down at the same time.

4. View that screenshot, and you’ll see an additional option along the top of the screen (see attached screen shot), saying Full Page.

5. Click that Full Page and the entire length of the page shows up on the right side.

6. Click the up-arrow Save Select button (far upper right corner) and save it any way you want, and it will save the entire website in one multi-page PDF.

I learned that from my wife, who is new to iPhones.

When they make changes or add new features, I wish they'd do a better job of letting us know. Perhaps they could have a wiki that gets updated. Learning about features incidentally by coming across articles, or by accidentally finding out yourself, is not satisfactory.

I am afraid I am "The Last To Know™" unless someone else confesses after me that they also didn't know.

Now, I believe there a similar trick to get a full window into a screen shot even though the full window isn't on the screen.

To be clear, I'm referring to a window that's open fully but too tall for the screen.

On the computer one would scroll to see various parts of the window, and a typical screen shot would only capture that part of the window on the screen at that moment.

To get the full window in screen shots would then take multiple screen shots, scrolling the window to reveal more content with each shot.

By 'window' I'm referring to Finder or app windows, not website pages.

Would anybody know that one, or if it's just an urban myth?
