I think it’s safe to say that MOST pick up truck owners are pretty well clueless re their truck’s TRUE capabilities. ESPECIALLY when it comes to TOWING, many people DON’T have “enough” truck to SAFELY do the job they want to do.

Assuming that there's 6 inches of "air" space from the dimensions of the product around the edges for the air bags, and 1 inch from the top, it equates to about 233 gallons of water. That alone is over 2000 lbs.

I did that with my 85 Ranger in 1999. Drove it to my parents house, into the back yard and put a mattress in the back, then a tarp. Filled it up with water and hung out with my girl.

Next day I dropped the tailgate and watered my dad's lawn.

Truck was fine.

Most humans are less dense than water, so a human jumping in the pool and sloshing around so the lever does not go up will not increase the weight (unless they are all sitting up with their torso's out of the water).
