If you don't know Beth, you may be put off by her visual insanity.
But she can sing.

She looks like she could hurt me. She looks like she wants to hurt me. WHY DOES SHE WANT TO HURT ME?

Also, I didn't see any high schoolers... maybe she ate devoured them?

It is what it is.

She’s 50 years old, and…

“…has struggled with drug addiction and bipolar disorder…”

Listened, and IMHO doesn’t equal the LZ original. old fogey smiley

Vote for me. When I'm The Poobah of All, my rule for cover songs will be enacted:

If you cover a song, it MUST be a) BETTER and b) DIFFERENT. Hopefully both.

.

This rule will be enforced retroactively. And also applied to tribute bands. Be forewarned, Weezer and Substitute: The Songs of the Who.

I didn't like it, but I don't object to its existence.

That's usually my thought on the subject. For Zep we need look no further than the original singer of these tunes.

I must differ. Most of Plants work with LZ is utter screeching 5h1t.
And he tends to agree.
Beth is a much better vocal. But I prefer her doing her own thing.
But here.

actually, my post was referring to his more recent interpretations. I agree on his first two albums, I find them somewhat unlistenable, and easily their weakest work.
