iPhone Xr no longer playing nice w/ car's USB/iPod input. Acura MDX still recognizes iPhone as "iPod" via USB connector in center console, but nothing plays thru the car's stereo! Wazzup w/ that? Our two iPads, and Baby Buzz's old iPhone Xs and new 13 mini still work as they're supposed to, w/ 3 different USB to Lightning cables, yet my Xr remains silent, regardless of which cable is being tried.... until the Lightning connector is removed, then it plays away thru its internal speaker just fine. Have not tried Baby Buzz's M1 iPad Pro w/ its USB C format connector, but I'm gonna go out on a limb and suggest that it'll work, too.

Any ideas on how to get the Xr to play nice w/ the car?

Xr does work w/ Apple's Lightning to 3.5mm adapter and 3.5mm to USB cable gleeped from cMP's monitor's soundbar, and of course the Xr has been rebooted a significantly higher than a non zero number of times.
Trying to figure out why Xr isn't "playing by the rules..." without having to snag a separate cable for it vs. the other iDevices used in the car.
