of the previous box of 100 I had. It was a wet seal.
Staples only has Easy Close now.
Been a while.

Been a while.

I switched to the self stick envelopes years ago. Summer humidity in my house was always enough to activate the lick and seal glue so I ended up with unusable envelopes.

I bought a 500 pack of envelopes in 1996, only to discover direct payment via Quicken on my Performa 475 one month later.

I still have a large number of envelopes left. Surprisingly, they don't look 26 years old.

Yeah, and all of the paperclips are either brass/gold-colored with that paint that flakes off or are made from extremely thin metal (not "steel" by any reasonable definition) coated in colorful rubber.

No plain large steel paperclips to be found in the store.
