If Tesla or other electric Carmaker ever gets enough supplies, I can older cars being 'restored' with electric drivetrains. Who drives those classics more that 100 miles?

EDIT: I meant to say, on a a large scale. So many cars are scrapped because the transmission or engine is shot. I can see the day when swapping out the transmission for a motor and short range (~100 mile) battery starting to make sense.
