stiff faucet maintenence

first hot water cartridge leaks on lav sink, then the cold.
both replaced.
now the other lav sink has a stiff cold water faucet.
It's a Am Standard.
Is it the handle or the cartridge or both that needs a vinegar clean and some silicon grease?

I'd probably replace the cartridge, I assume it is the same vintage as the other sink so it is probably doe for a leak

When I found a HD employee that was knowledgeable about faucet cartridges, he pressed a grease tube into my hands and gave me a lecture about not having a yearly maintenance schedule for lubricating all my faucets. RollingEyesSmiley5

the cartridge is considerably newer, but AS is no longer what it was if it ever was.

Grease the threads, O ring or handle or all?

If you’re going for the lube, then go all the way.

oh well. It's a ped sink. Even with a telescoping basin wrench, it's just too tight to get my hands in there. I'd have to take the ped out completely to make a valve change or lube.
americant stoopid just makes the worst designed crap, even today. I dunno how I got talked into their line by my spouse instead of Kohler which was way better designed for service.
Haven't tried one, but the Deltas look to be the smart install/maint now.

It's her sink anyway. She'll have to do with stiff.
See what I did there DeusxMac?
