It's on my wife's parsley and it-or it's friends-has decimated her crop of herbs. To what moth or butterfly will this little bug(ger) turn into?

Let the little fellow enjoy his snack. He's going to grow up some day to be this:

Cool! I have Black-and Yellow Swallowtails all over the place here but have never seen what I now know is a caterpillar of one.

Let the little fellow enjoy his snack.

Willingly. My wife uses far too much parsley in her cooking but don't tell her I said so! rolleyes smiley

That is a fat n' happy caterpillar. If I'd found it as a kid, it'd have been an insta-pet!

We had at least 10 all over our herb plants. I looked it up and found out that they were swallowtail butterfly caterpillars. The next day, they were all gone. Wonder where they went? Hope they did not get eaten by other little beasties. They are certainly cute!
