For a sub-$100 guitar, they’re exquisite. I bought one a few years back on sale just to cannibalize for parts. Was pleasantly surprised at how good it was out of the box. Could the hardware and electronics use an upgrade? Sure. Can you get a better body and neck to build around for that price? I doubt it…

The cheap tele clone is $80. Not as good as last week, but still a great deal. I got one, it arrived earlier in the week.

I kind of wonder if these are the same guitars as the Glarrys and the Burning Fires. Sometimes you can find those for really cheap also.
