I'm reading this on my mid 2010 MacBook....

I can honeslty say I'm thrilled that my ancient 2012 Mini is doing everything I need it to do (for now). I honestly can't imagine dropping $ 2k+ for new hardware.

But you wouldn't need to spend 2k+ to replace the Mini when M1 Minis start at $700.

Its good to stay happy with what you have for as long as possible. Don't touch any M1 macs without money in your pocket.
