New phone is delivering tomorrow via Express Delivery.
Got the 128 gb model and AppleCare+ (she can be a little clumsy) using my Apple Card.
Can anyone recommend a good clear case? The one from Apple seemed a bit pricy at $49!

I have the Apple clear case, and I don't know that I'd recommend it.
It's a very tight fit, and a little worrisome getting it off the 'Phone.
Being a solid case, it was always a worry that if the 'Phone was dropped, energy would be transmitted to the 'Phone and not enough absorbed or dissipated.
You might consider a soft, color matched silicone case from AMZ.
I'm not quick to recommend imported cases or bands over Apple products, but the 12 mini version of the following has worked out well for me, and that hasn't always been the, er, case for me.

This case isn't MagSafe compatible, if that's a concern.
I also have an ESR Silicone Case, MagSafe compatible that's not MFi certified, and works well.
But I didn't see a 13 mini version, and as we near the 'Phone 14 series, options have started to dry up.
Surprisingly, there are still a lot of 12 mini cases to choose from.
