I signed up for this deal last fall

12-Month AMC+ Streaming Subscription $23.90

I logged into my account today to check the renewal rate for next year so I can cancel.

But instead I see it will renew on 11/19/2023 (not 2022) so it looks like I subscribed for 2 years. I then checked my credit card and I see just that charge from November for $23.90.

I emails them and waiting for response.

Could you please check your account to see if you notice the same thing? Thanks

Yes, mine says the same, 11/19/23. I definitely only paid for one year. Maybe because we were early adopters?

I think it's a typo on the web site. I received this email response:

Thank you for contacting Acorn TV customer support!

We apologize for any issues you are having with your billing.

We've checked our records and your subscription will expire on 11/19/22.

Yes if you cancel you are still able to watch AMC+, only time that it cancels right away is when asking for a refund and the refund gets back to you right away, from that time the subscription stops.

I haven't done a deep dive, but it isn't at the top of my streaming list.
