I was never into Robotech (I was more in the Star Blazers / Battle of the Planets era) but that's a great price for 36 episodes. I might bite on that.

If you look at the SlickDeals page, the Masters Saga and the New Generation are also on sale for $4.99 each for each series full run. So three full series for a total of around $15.

Yeah, I rewatched it a year or so ago. It didn't age well. Partly that goes to the dialogue created for the American release over edited anime licensed from Japan. Three unrelated shows were combined to create the TV series shown in the US.

Any mention on iTunes as to which release the digital downloads are based on?
