Has anyone personally tried them?
Is the chicken skin still on the boneless wings?
If they are just skinless chicken nuggets, are the nuggets dark meat at least?

I've dine there a couple-three times, and that's been my experience.

And I've never had 'just wings' that were any good.

For one of the rare football games I've watched at a friend's place, he would order chicken wings of various flavors, and none were never good, but only ok — just.

I offered to help pony up for pizza, but no, it had to be wings.

Blah.

Why $13 for once were thought chicken discards is a deal mystery to me.

This doesn't seem like a great deal to me.

IMO they have been cost cutting a bit. We try real hard to frequent non chain locally owned whenever we can, but when we are with friends that have a lower level of "foodie" in them, I usually find decent items to eat there. Last time we went, it was for the $1 shrimp add on to a steak entree deal. This was was the lowest quality steak I've ever had there. Tasted very chemical tenderized, must have been the lowest level select grade meat, reminded me of the tenderized Bonanza/Ponderosa chain steaks. Wife's Mac and Cheese with chicken tenders was bland, void of good flavor.
The $1 fried shrimp were good, however.
