We have 4 cell phones. I left Comcast Mobile, and I will also cancel Comcast Internet tomorrow ($98/month for 300/10) and keep FiOS ($40, 200/200, no data cap). I moved 2 phones to Visible and 2 phones to Mint Mobile.

Signal seems good on all phones. After a while I decide if I stay as is, it move all phones to one of them.

I can see international calling rates on mint website, and they are pretty decent.

Visible on the other hand has no info about calling rates. They offer 500 min on the $45 plan to some countries, but nothing included on the $30 plan. I cannot find any info at all!

I guess I'll try to make a call tomorrow and see what happens. I found some reddit threads that I need to read.

As others have noted, WhatsApp works brilliantly. I do overseas calls daily, and they're all done through WhatsApp. Works flawlessly. You can also do video calls on it, too.

I don't like that WhatsApp is owned by Meta/Facebook, but there you go. I get what I pay for.

No, it does not work. I tried. maybe I did not explain clearly what I want.

if I call a number in Germany, that is not whatApp, but a good old fashion regular number, that usually costs about 1 cent per minute or so. There is no way to do this with Visible. when I tried, it told me that I do not have enough funds in my Verizon account (yes, I know Visible belongs to Verizon) and it transferred me to add funds, when I got disconnected.

Apparently there is no way to make international calls from Visible (except calling Canada and Mexico which are included in the $30 plan). The $45 has 500 minutes to 25 countries, but most countries I call are not on that list.

Sorry to hear that it doesn’t work.
