emulate iPhone, or screenshare it, on High Sierra?

I guess the fancy new M1 Macs can run iPhone apps, but I don't yet have one of those. I bought a digital map for my iPhone and I'd like to make some screenshots from that on my Mac. Is there an emulator that works on High Sierra? Is there something like Chrome Remote Desktop that would let me take control of my phone on my desktop?

Not exactly what you're asking, but you can connect iPhone to Mac with a USB to lightning cord, open up QuickTime, select "new movie recording" from the "File" menu, select the iPhone from the little drop-down arrow next to the red record button, and you get your iPhone screen as a realtime video (if you hit record) on your Mac. Does that help?

You can also use Zoom to display your iPhone.
The great app Reflector will do it. They may have a free trial.

How about doing a screen capture video on your phone?
