Blonde Ambition-anybody watching House of the Dragon?

What is the opinion from our famously discerning forum members?

I think I'm up to ep 3 - and while interesting, IMO no substitute for GOT.

Mostly good, but episode four was disturbing. Cool how they kept the same theme song.

the last episode was the best - I agree - each episode is better than the last.

I haven't watched this past week's episode yet. I want to like the show (and will probably continue to watch it), but I don't find it as enthralling as GoT in its first season. Maybe because the shock factor is not there. Maybe because these are new characters, but we already know them in a sense and know what to expect. I'm hoping it improves.
