Look at Marketplace or Craigslist for a Webber Genesis. You may have to replace a few simple parts, but you'll save a bundle on a grill that will last a lifetime.

I will look. Seems like a good idea. I'd just need to figure out how to transport it.

Steps in briefly to mention the Blackstone griddle as a possibility. It opens a whole new world of possibilities.

What not to get: something like this E-310
It's a fine machine but I'd not consider it unless the inside is clean and free of rust. Nice price tho.
This is the original design, I'd toss $100 at this along with new SS grates and get cookin'. When the Flavorizers wear out, replace with SS: [www.facebook.com]]
The earlier ones had wood instead of plastic, and wood can be refurbed easily.
and for your "4th burner" I'd get a Q1200 ... awesome camping grill, too.

That 310 looks fine to me. The rust is in the flavorizer bars. Do they have the same 10yr warranty?

That style has a steel cabinet. It’ll rust, although depending on the environment perhaps not soon. Weber owners measure success in decades.
Now, higher-end Genesis models, the “stainless” ones might have a SS cabinet. I just don’t know if it’s the cabinet or only the doors that are SS on those. But grill cabinets — even though vented — are moisture traps. Wasp and spider homes, also.
