I think it ought to be required viewing for anyone over age 13 or so.

Just started watching it. Love Ken Burns but have an aversion to depression

Trying to find the time to watch the segments uninterrupted. That may take some months.

It should be shown to high school history classes but seriously doubt that will happen. NONE of the pathetic history classes I had in high school even talked about the Holocaust back in the 70's.

TIVO'd it and waiting for some uninterrupted time to focus on it.

I watched it, very moving. The parallels to today's world are scary. It is not easy viewing, nor should it be.

Terrific. Horrific. And the reflection of current times is disturbing

How exactly does it parallel current times?

Being the son of a Holocaust survivor and grandson of a victim, I've grown up with this. It is in my DNA. None of the stories will be new or surprising. However, I still feel it is important to watch and important for my wife and kids to see it.

We watched Part 1 last night. Will watch the other parts this weekend. Very well done, as typical for Ken Burns documentaries.

Saw most of Part 1, and need time to binge all of it.

I'm not sure I could binge it. I needed some thoughtful decompression between episodes

Watching part 1. Interesting how the Same excuses to hate immigrants as now. Human nature doesn’t change.
