In the 80s, I was thrilled with the prospect of clinching the division—even if it only happened in a movie. My interest in the game has dwindled over the years, but I hope there's still room for me on the bandwagon.

I realize that the name change stung, but it was time. What better way to get past that fielding an exciting young team. Let's win the whole @%**@ thing!

Whoa, I'd lost track! They were barely above 500 (but hey, anything above 500 ain't bad) and in the middle of the AL central pack last I looked.

Yeah, the Twins were on top most of the season, but had an epic slump the last month or so.
