After the discussion/poll from about a month ago, I decided to give Gildan t-shirts from Michael's a try. Much better fit than the Hanes I bought, especially after a washing. Two of the Hanes shrunk so much in length, they'll be donated. The other four will probably go that way after a couple more washings. I bought two Gildan in Large and two in Extra Large since I never know how a particular manufacturer will fit me. The Large fit just about perfect, so the XLs went back. Best of all, even after a wash, the Large still fit fine. I was happy that I got them on sale at $3.99 per shirt, so when I went to order more last night, I saw that they were on sale again...this time at $2.99.

No, they don't have pockets, but I'll learn to live with that. Thanks to Robert M., Ombligo, and Mark Anthony for the Gildan shout-outs.

There is an epidemic of too short tee shirts right now.

Me too. Prefer Poly-Cotton blends for that.
