Questions PGP public key generation

Anyone familiar with PGP encryption?

I'm brand new to PGP keys setup and my biggest question is on the required Name and Email address. If I use my real name and email address for a public PGP key, can that be seen by others? Is that email/name contained in the key and therefore crackable and seen by some people?

Is it okay to put in a fictitious name/email when creating a key, as long as I remember what those are?

I'm not too familiar with it, but this video demonstrates that the answer is Yes:
Any Name or Email address used in the creation of your public key can be extracted by a 3rd party - [www.youtube.com]

So it follows that yes it is OK to put what ever you want in there, just know that if you intend to share your public key on a keyserver that nobody will be able to search for that using your actual name or email.
