The little opening for it on the MiniStack looks like an adapter from the Mercury enclosures would work, but no: it’s the tiniest bit too small for that plug. I have a bazillion power cords and adapters hanging about, so it took quite a bit of excavating to find it. Luckily, I could check what it looks like because I have a MiniStack set up under one of the other Mac Minis. But I obviously need a better organizational scheme for all these things. I should check and see if OWC sells them separately.

If I'm too lazy to grab a label-maker or paper-tape to mark a power-adapter, I'll still grab a sharpie and write directly on it. (Silver marker for black bricks.)

I’ve done that for some of them. Pretty sure I was keeping this particular adapter with the MiniStack, but things had gotten rearranged a bit and then things got aggravating. So basically I shot myself in the foot. Good thing I had another MiniStack hooked up so that I knew what the power thingie should look like.

I've had that not work out. Have several of the same brand and model of external drives, all with their own power adapters. But they weren't purchased at the same time, and they changed the source for the power adapters they put in the packages. Nothing on them to ID the brand of the drive, just the manufacturer of the adapter. They all look different, only thin the same is the size and shape of the plug.
