.....at Paramount+......so far Kelsey Grammer confirmed (he produced the revival)....

Frasier Revival Officially Ordered at Paramount+ With Kelsey Grammer — But Will the Rest of the Cast Be Back?

....Paramount+ is serving up a fresh helping of tossed salad and scrambled eggs: The streamer has officially handed a series order to a Frasier revival

Kelsey Grammer will reprise his role as the snooty psychiatrist he originated on Cheers and then took to his own NBC spinoff, which ran for 11 seasons and won five straight Emmys for best comedy series. The revival was first reported in February 2021, with Grammer himself confirming the news. He’ll serve as an executive producer on the revival, with Chris Harris (How I Met Your Mother) and Joe Cristalli (Life In Pieces) writing the scripts. The series order is reportedly for 10 episodes.

Frasier may not have his family and friends by his side this time, though: The revival finds him moving to a new city, just as he did at the start of Frasier, and surrounded by a new cast of characters. Original cast members David Hyde Pierce (Niles), Jane Leeves (Daphne) and Peri Gilpin (Roz) are “not expected to be series regulars, but could make guest appearances,”(John Mahoney, who played Frasier’s dad Martin Crane, passed away in 2018.)

Grammer said in July that they were “in the final stages of the final script for the first episode… and it looks pretty good,” teasing that Frasier “thinks he’s gonna go off and do one thing, and sure enough, his life takes him in another direction — and he ends up rich beyond his dreams.”

revival.......coming......................?!

When they announced the original Frasier I never thought it would fly and it was amazing. We will see about the new show!

They are releasing the original Frasier series to Blu-ray later this year. I'm waiting to see how the image quality looks, but this is definitely one series worth owning - I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

It is what it is.

That series showed me it's always about the writing. The actors can be good to great and getting that chemistry right can be tough sometimes, but no matter what the seemingly boring, crazy, unlikely premise, good writers can mine for gold with it.

Agreed.

It was always a favorite of mine, with superb acting on part of just about every single actor and guest star.

I've never like Grammer anywhere near as much in any of his other roles.

David Hyde Pierce as Niles Crane was brilliant, and I especially like his references to Maris.

And when she cut him off and took his BMW back, he was reduced to driving 'something called a hatchback'.

Oooh, oooh!

When Frasier (?) threw a brick through a gallery window of an art dealer that sold him a forgery, before the pair made their getaway, Niles threw some cash into the display, saying 'The Cranes are not savages!'

LOVED that show.

It was one of the very few great spinoffs that was at the very least as good as the parent show (Cheers), and I like it a lot more.
