600 cases reported in NYC, Albany and central NYS. If you are planning to visit, you may want to get a flu shot. Not enough people have so far. One subway ride will do ya.

Not anticipated a trip to NYC, but got the flu shot last week, and will get the bivalent next week. Employer sponsored and onsite clinics.

People need two to four WEEKS after getting a flu shot for said shot to reach maximum effectiveness.

Maybe it's all the people vising the Statue of Liberty...

I just finally got around to booking an appointment for the booster and the flu shot. Not until the 25th, unfortunately. I wonder if I could get it quicker by just walking in to Bellevue.

This does not alarm me... If it was under-reported by a factor of TEN, I would still not be alarmed. If there were 100 times that many, it would be noteworthy.
