There are additional fonts available but they're tacky at best.
The font used for the time in the Photos Watch face hasn't changed, and is a nicer, more svelte font.
Notifications that come in when that Watch face is selected are also in a larger, fatter font, which predictably shows less info on the display, without scrolling.
Pulling notifications down from the red dot shows the previous smaller font.
I'm still deciding whether the tale of two fonts is a bug or a feature.
I've shaken my brolly at Apple FeedBack, so this should be corrected with the next update.
