MEMPHIS β TMZ is retracting their report that infamous rock 'n' roller Jerry Lee Lewis died.
The media outlet had reported that the singer passed at his Memphis home on Wednesday. Citing TMZ as the source, CBS Sacramento also published the incorrect news of his death. We regret causing unnecessary shock and sadness to his family, friends, and fans as a result of this error.

Given the British Invasion of the β60s, Fats Domino would be an entirely appropriate choice to ride through the streets shouting βThe British are coming! The British are coming!β
