Don't forget to get a converter - that will give you a 420mm 2.8 as well.

I remember folks talking about that lens many years ago. The consensus was more people should have opted for it because at the time, it cost only a little more (probably in comparison to a 400/2.8 not a 300/2.8).

with that cinema mount, I bet it garners lots of attention. a nice RED camera stuck onto the back of that? to quote Butthead: that would be cool.
