Article,

OWC has two versions of the dock. An older model that doesn't have ethernet and a newer model that has it. The E version is the newer model. Supposedly, the newer model has superior build quality, too.

Fritz,

Just used this OWC USBc Travel doc E on a M1 MBA for a Dell display, an Apple keyboard and a Swann mouse. No driver. Worked perfectly.

Two things:

1. Reboot. A crash or conflict may be preventing Apple's USB mass-storage drivers from loading.

2. Disconnect the dock and connect it again *firmly* to another USB-C port on the Mac. Over time, USB-C ports and plugs wear out and some devices will have a cleaner connection when you use another port.
